I don't want a drag racing car.

Too one dimensional.

I've been a sports car/road racing kind of guy since I was 16, oh so long ago, hence I prefer cars with nimble handling and well balanced chassis that can stop and turn as well, or better, than they accelerate.

Just my personal preference. One of my friends used to run an alcohol dragster, and now he is a Porsche collector, another of my friends is a Porsche Club/BMW Club/etc... instructor, who is all crazy over drag racing.

It's all good fun, but I just prefer sports cars. I'd like to purchase a domestic car, but Detroit keeps letting me down.

For sure, if you want a sports car our home grown companies are a big letdown. Its sad too I think pnontiac and Saturn were on to something with the solstice.

Motor trend threw an LS7 into one...god almighty.
