There's no way that it's just the UK skimming emails, websites, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if all major 'Western' countries were up to it. The idea that the Internet is anonymous and free is rapidly fading. I make a fair bit of money on the side from people (men) who have clicked on the Beautiful Babes link and then don't know how to stop the deluge of BB spam that is hitting their in-boxes.
Usually it's the family laptop that gets brought around - and I make the equivalent of £300/hr sorting it out - that is, three minutes 'work' and a quid extra to make a round figure, I'm not a greedy man.
