3D Monitor
I forgot to mention I have an Acer GN245HQ 3D monitor for 3D Vision.
3D Vision works with CoD and the cockpit is nice in 3D but the landscape shows less depth and seems rather flat as a palette in the background. Concerning the G940, I'm still happy with my purchase and hope this "newer" version doesn't have any rotary spikes. Do you need the firmware 1.42 for it to install with Gaming Software 5.10?

Be advised that, concerning the G940, when you demand a replacement before you send your faulty stick back, sometimes you don't have to return the faulty stick at all.
That worked for me 2 times in Germany.

Oh no!
I installed that Firmware 1.42 and went flying again, but this time the Force Feedback responded awfully with heavy shaking and no loose zone for fine corrections. I did no changes to FF level and I find it controlling terrible after installing that Firmware. What happened and is this normal?
