No, anthropomorphic is supposed to make things more 'realistic' as you can only do so many things at once, as you only have 2 hands IRL.Most people I believe have it turned off, because whilst a nice idea, it seems to be bugged.
If you had it on, hopefully all your problems will be solved with it off.

some .. maybe not all. Odd that it ran great for the first few days, then things started getting sluggish . was beginning to think a re-install was in order.
