I asked the same question. They figured after windows closed the benchmark 3d 11 program it was a windows error and not a card error...they never checked the logs to see what happened...neither did I once I returned home...my bad there. I also should have made them test it again....failure on my part as well as theirs I guess.

Chalked up to experience for future reference.

Update:

I was given an EVGA GTX570 1.5G replacement through the retailer I had purchased the card from initially. The last EVGA available in Canada at this time (not including Ebay, NCIX, etc.)

So far, I am very pleased with its performance. Above all, the HDMI works and in game clarity is just eye watering. I ran the Black Death track (all settings on high, grass, shadows and roads checked, SSAO on, Vert Sync off in game, AA off in game....Nvidia control panel controls my VS and AA) and achieved a low of 34FPS, a max of 60FPS....very nice to finally see this game in its full settings.....just beautiful.
