No...no blue screen...just the black screen like when you have to select safe mode. Except it had that message about over clocking and it had some choices of how to start windows...can't really remember them now.
Yip...strange indeed. The 570 is brand new and never did recognize the hdmi cable I plugged in from the start. But as soon as I put the gts250 back in it worked....with no problems. Is it possible that my 570 (type and brand) may use a different driver for the hdmi than my gts 250? I still think the card was fubar from the get go. I hope I am wrong cause I don't feel like waiting another 2 weeks to get a replacement. Whiskey |

Gigbyte recomends an older driver on their site though, but this can't be the problem. if your 250 works drivers are ok. bios is almost ruled out(you would get a black screen plus it's not an onbard card which you can oc/mess w. in the bios) Maybe it's some crappy OC software, or a lemon card.
