I have had Steam get stuck when my internet connection has dropped and steam is trying to update what you have just done flying. Maybe try without your firewall running.
I have heard some people having hangs with SSD drives, check your firmware is the latest or try on a normal disk. Good luck James Matt |

This doesn't seem to occur with any other Steam games after playing for large amounts of time.
I will try to have a look to see if the net connection has dropped next time it does it (if I can). I will also check the SSD firmware, again, this doesn't happen with any other games or software so it would seem weird to have an issue exiting one specific game. I don't have an option to try it on a normal disk. Cheers for the thoughts, Matt. I will post back with progress. Any other thoughts would be welcomed in the mean time. Cheers, James |

Some people have mentioned about a memory leak which might mean the lock up would happen after some time, just a thought
