I went from Keys to AXSES...I clicked on elevator trim and then rotated the larger wheel on the throttle and it works in flight very well. I did the same for rudder trim using the smaller wheel and the flaps are on the slider. Use the Axses commands. Cheers, John

The reason for the trimwheel is the fine adjustment it can give for the trim up and down.
Thr trim on my joystick is not fine enough
You are right. What people miss here is that Saitek Trim Wheel ROTATE 9 turn for all potentiometer course.
A throttle rotate about 60 degrees, a rotarie (like in X-52 throttle) maybe 270 degrees.

Unfortunately is expensive, if only offer one more axis for rudder trim...

Case of buy two 10k 9 turn pot, knobs, a plastic box, one BU0836 or a DIY Mjoy USB controller and make your own trim box.
