With medium clouds, the sim runs OK if you aren't looking to a lot of clouds. The bottleneck i believe it's the not so much optimized smoke/clouds...

Great video! Also, very impressed with the quality of the video using the 5D2 - no flickering! Do you recall what shutter speed you used?
