S!
As above..waiting for 2012 and the new cards from both brands. Also this gives precious time for CoD to mature a bit more. |

Love my EVGA GTX580sc, only 1.5gb but find the game VERY well. Averages above 50fps at all times.

Just finished a budget upgrade. Went from e6600@3.4 ghz to i2500k at stock for now and from 8800gts to a regular gtx570. If money was no object I would've gone for a GTX580 3gb.

Atm, considering all the dual GPU problems in all sort of games, the highest overclocked GTX 580 and/or with 3 GB VRAM should be the best buy for 1920x1080.
For lower resolutions, like my 1680x1050, a 560 TI superoverclocked is enough for anything (as a 580 would have roughly the same performance at this resolution). Last edited by adonys; 10-14-2011 at 11:00 AM. |

I would go for the 580GTX, an excellent card. You won't regret it.

Yes, a single GTX 580 with 3GB VRAM.

If money is no problem, then patience is a vitrue!
There is nothing to buy today to make this game run very well. Wait for the next generation of NV GPUs with the new core. These will make the game run better. Now the bad news, they decided to postpone the introduction of the new GPUs from end-2011 to 2012 So, very sad Xmas it will be! GTX580 3Gb is a good card to get you fixed for a few months while waiting. ~S~ |
