I don't know if there is any diff in consumption coded. Mind you you would need to fly a very long test mission to be able to measure it.

By working what do you mean ? You can select Auto Rich and Auto lean just fine ... but are you saying you are manually leaning out incrementally with altitude and seeing progressively better power output ?
