From your signature I see that your are using Win7 so I deduct that FreeTrack is working with Win7 (because in the forum I saw postings from people who did not manage to make it work with Win7-64...)

To be fair with natural point, apparentely free track does use some of natural points coding unauthorized.

i did a freetrack to, but it didnt turn out well, i have a track ir, and its jsut plain awsome, i was amazed how it worked straight out of the box.

still, good luck on your free track, if it goes out nice, you will spare 100 bucks.

no unauthorized code is used, was only added the possibility to use TrackIR hardware with freetrack, NP didn't liked it so it was removed. The code is not a Naturalpoint patent, how can you patent a math calc? Better not start again this discussion Freetrack VS TrackIR because will not go anywhere.

Continu0,
Yes, it takes some time to get used to it but once you do, you can't fly without it.

As for Win7 64, that 's what I'm running it on. The only issue I had was with freetrack was with the ps3 eye cam but there is an unofficial patch in the freetrack forum that makes it work.

You need to build your 3 led points (for a 6DOF) and have a webcam.
Optionally to build 3 LED points, you can use NP TrackClip PRO with Freetrack.

yep, but seems easy to broke, and 30$ seems too much for 3 IR leds, I made mine with straws
