I'm down the pub now, but I've left the patch seeding, tried to install according to Blackdogs instructions but it hasn't 'taken', any ideas why?

So far i love the patch. I would love to have a little mor bass.
Also i seem to get mor launcher crashes now since the patch. Pre patch i had launcher crashes VERY seldom.
