effectively me109, me262, giordanian falcon and spits displayed far away from center line, they exibit over wooden area near the airstrip and a bit high... P51 were ok, ok also seafury (great show)

... I remember years when you could watch the BF-109 or Mustang so close, you could look into the muzzle of their guns when they were roaring straight towards you, only a few meters off the ground.
You could even feel the propwash and smell the engine when they were passing over your head !

That was a feeling - hard to describe !!! But that was many years ago,...

... dont know exactly, but I think the first time I was there was in 1997 or 1999.

They said that it´s been the 16. (!) Hahnweide this year which is happening every two years.
