Did anybody ever try to measure the actual speed of the aircraft by measuring the map of England, between two known points in WoP, and timing.

It always surprised me how fast one can go from London to Dover in that follow the little dot on the map game with fly in a green fuzzy fish bowl dogfight.

WoP is nice graphics engine technology demo, but that's all (Eternity Project). It is not easy to develop as realistic a flight simulator as possible. Also sim fans are already demanding nowadays.

Thanks for the update!
I notice that the pilot is shown in the gauges or was it shown before? Didn t play the game since 4 month.

If I recall correctly, in one of the older updates the devs said that they'd only included the reflection in the hurricane but not the spitfire - I have no idea why - so maybe that's what you're comparing it to

argh crap just checked in a hurricane and the pilot reflection is there , never noticed that before lol .

only in the hurricane
no pilot in the spitfire--just the seat
