For the fps counter open the console, I think you have to map a key for that in the settings, then enter "fps START SHOW", case sensitive.
Now there are two things as far as I read on the forum, fps and stuttering. The stuttering occurs even for people with good fps, thus has nothing to do with the framerate. It seems to come from texture loading. I seem to be fortunate enough not to have any stuttering at all, it might have to do with the type and amount of ram and the speed of the harddrive. There are solutions/workarounds for the stuttering, if you search the topic there should be a list of postings that will help. I believe Ataros made a lengthy post about help with stuttering a while ago. |

managed to optimise fps according to several tutorials here, especially the great one from Mystic Puma: (thx tintifaxl for the linking)
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=25543 finally did a performance test with the solo spitfire flight over london, the result was 11/56/101, (textures med, grass on, streets on, shadows off, buildings very low, models high) didnt overclock my GPU yet, but will probably do for further improvements flying is really enjoyable now but sometimes the stuttering is still existing...
