Hmm... i think not... it was ineffective against armor, fuel tank, ect. Its proposed use -as it is written on this last web page too- the observation. In the cod currently not this situation

To the guys wondering about cannon ammunition, I posted a thread earlier with my testing. Every round of cannon has the tracer effect, I can't get rid of them. Even firing a single round from each cannon produces between 1-3 tracers per gun. Not sure if this is a generic graphics effect, or if our cannons just aren't changing ammunition. If someone can figure it out, I'd be most appreciative!

You try it online? Offline dont work the ammo customization (even if you see the custom ammo belt)

tom you can use it offline, but only with self made missions.

made a fast one for my own, emptied a full load of Observer rounds of a Spitfire on a Ju88 - no damage on the Ju88

Do you mean effective at doing it's job (marking impacts), or do you mean effective at causing damage?
