You say that Combat Flight Sims which have been modded by the community are dead yet completely ignore the fact that every single Combat Flight Simulation has been extensively modded…are you telling me that they are all dead? That IL2 is the Only Flight Simulation that people play currently?
I'll ask again. What are the number online for any of those games you mentioned during any night? Nothing even close to IL2 in just hyperlobby.

Makes you wonder why any other publisher bothers releasing a Combat Flight Sim if IL2 is the only one anyone buys and plays doesn't it? Surely it can't be commercially viable for Shockwave to plan on releasing a Flying Tigers Flight Sim, Lead Pursuit to Plan a new Modern Jet Sim and the LOMAC team to develop Black Shark, if no-one plays any other Flight Sims doesn't it...

don't forget thirdwire. They've got something going with jets over the middle east. and said sim is supremely modabble. unfortunately the lack of multiplayer seems to be killing that series of sims.

Sweet mother of..... what a bunch of mindless chatter in here, what are u guys...2??? u jerk around in here and then giggle at that pathetic hackers forum of yours, backtalking fellow simmers, commenting on their persona and hit eachother's back - still giggeling like 12 year old school girls.... Beside Ivan's posts and a few more, this is just a load of *****

MOD? please.... this is not what I was hoping for.. this is getting worse than "that other place" which I lost hope in a long long time ago... but still it was beeing SOMEWHAT modded...

now...don't get me wrong... I love you all guys, everyone of you, but you really REALLY have to sharpen up!

And Uther.. stop pestering Evgeny.. he has a tough job as it is without u messing with him.... grow up. Moma can see u!

The third wire series is absolutely great for excellent modability...

I'm not trying to flame here Jason. I'm just asking. I think its a viable question. What are the numbers compared to IL2? You didn't answer.

I know F4 blows online. LOMAC isn't that great, I fly it btw. The others I'm going to have to take an educated guess at and say they don't even have a quarter of the numbers IL2 has online. I truely believe the one of the reasons IL2 remained so popular online is because people could fairly assume that there was not a plague of cheating going on because of mods/hacks.

Sniper,I am also not trying to flame here,so please do not take it as such: I have not seen a decrease in the players in hyperlobby since this started. There still seems to be a 1000 or so online when I fly.
Its a valid point though, does anyone think there has been a decrease online?

I didn't mean to say that there is currently a decrease online for IL2. I am afraid, however, if things continue the way they seem to be with no quality control or real server protection IL2 will end up as dead as those games mentioned, online.

A bit farfetched assumption! You must have an interest or curiosity for the hardware of that (WWII) era in order to buy and choose to play this sim on the hyperlobby. A normal night, like tonight (just checked!) we have about 350 in game and 100 in chat in Hyperlobby.
