Bear in mind that my 5970 is an Xfire card and I have pseudo full screen on so its only acting like a 5870... not bad... not bad at all.

I have a 5970. as well..what are your Card sttings in CCC? I have had CLOD since April and I am still not happy with the settings.

Try these settings with Radeon Pro.
Turning on "Disable API monitoring" under settings for radeon pro stops the menu corruption in game

I tried radeon pro didn't do much for me so now I use pseudo full screen (disables xfire) everything on max bar house detail which is on low and until the sound is fixed I have trees off.

In ccc I have everything turned to application based, but I will have to check that.
