slightly off topic: Is there any possibility that Steam is the reason Cod is so buggy (sounds cutting out, bad framerates etc)?


Before u laugh, i know Steam wont make the AI stupid for ex. but is it so far fetched to think Steam might be the reason sound cuts out? And Steam Cloud was one of the first things we where told to turn of to improve frame rates iirc.

There is apparently, NO mention of steam being required anywhere on the US DVD version.
Either 1C have kicked steam into touch (doubtful) or some people are going to buy it and get a nasty surprise.

Ataros I Guess you forgot this. I know that you are being lenient but still, I dont think you should make excuses for them, their absence shows they dont care what you or i think. Let them make their own excuses.

It is proceeding at a better pace than expected. It’s already in a working alpha state, and everyone loves it. The only thing that makes it an alpha is that a lot of events do not play sounds yet. 95% of the remaining work is simply adding new samples.
