In case you have stable 60+ fps without vsynk or stable 60 fps with vsynk you may turn triple buffering off.
If you have less than 60 fps sometimes either turn off vsynk (both ingame and in drivers) or if you want to have vsynk on turn on triple buffering. vsynk forces your fps to 60, 30 or 15 fps only. Triple buffering allows you to have any fps in between depending only on how much your gpu can render, e.g. 35, 41, 48, 50, etc. fps. BTW never have vsynk on both in drivers and ingame. It must be switched on only in one place either in drivers or ingame. Last edited by Ataros; 07-15-2011 at 06:51 PM. |

triple buffer appears to be only for Open GL, when i turn it on it effects my fps and lowers it sadly. But i do use Vsync and that actually appears to do nothing lol Edit i was wrong Vsync make loading terrain blocks smoother and less stutters
