First thing to do is check the 'Head View' and tracking views in the TrackIR software.
You'll get a better handle on how the tracker is working. if the head graphic isn't moving far enough in the set-up, tweak the response curves untill you get the movement you want. make sure the IR targets are visible for all your head movements. Adjust your reflectors/clip until this is right. Get it wrong in the software set-up and you're on a hiding to nothing |

Glad you got it sorted chap.
Guess I have been lucky with mine I've never had to tweak anything but perhaps I am lucky enough to be sitting exactly the right distance away from the monitor/receiver it's set at. As for the lean to gunsight I couldn't fly the 109 with out it. Half a gunsight is a struggle for me. Cheers |

Tell you what I do in the 109...
Lean a tad to the LEFT..hit the TrackIR centre key, assume normal sitting position and the sight is centred |

![]() Circled in red. But if you don't know where it is I doubt that's your problem. Are you using the clip or the hat? Have you updated your TrackIr5 on their site to the latest drivers/software? Cheers Edit your track IR should look like this: ![]() 3 green dots verticle right down the centre when your head is straight. Last edited by Honeymonster; 06-12-2011 at 07:24 PM. |
