IDK, ive had annoying things happen in my save games as well...one such is on my custom mission, the planes I have on the airfield are sitting normally, then I save it, record the part and when I came back in the planes are suddenly undergroound. Ive also had it where I had a vehicle crew out of their vehicle after it died and then when I saved and reloaded, the crew was gone, nowhere to be found. I guess it is just random annoying nuances of this game and not liking to reload properly. as annoying as it is ive had to restart several missions several times b/c of things like that...
