The thrill of the chase, and that split second of doubt because your unsure if the silouhette in your sights is an enemy 109 or a friendly Hurricane. Before opening up with all barrels and then seeing that 109 go down in flames over the English channel.

And also the fact that even though the game on consoles isnt cross platform, the IL2 community on the forums is still strong and friendly with the ever familiar faces sticking around and the occasional new face showing up.

But lets not forget the old dogs, the guys who were here from the start who are no longer gracing this forum, who have moved on to pastures new.

I have always loved the old warbirds (no honor or merit in an AIM-9 Sidewinder). Fly and search the enemy with your own eyes, distinguish the silhouette, Enemy or friend?. Pursue your enemies, focus on your sight and see how your bursts torn his fuselage.

Before, fly the man, not the machine.

To play, the console seem me easier than the computer, so when I knew it would released an Il-2 for PS3, I didn´t doubt.

I have gradually come to know the BOP comunity, and learned to respect; enyoiying their company in the air, as enemies or friends.

Olife, Themeistor, JOED70, MQ59, QBlackdeathQ, and the rest of the pilots, Thanks thanks for the good moments that I enjoy with you.
You plays with honor. not bomb or rocket the CTA or choose a B17 or a Me163 on BBE or DM.

What is it that we fight for you ask? What we sim players fight for is honor, friendship, and the trill of the chase! That bitter sweet taste of a challenge; an event that makes you feel the pounding in your chest, that very feeling which makes you feel alive. That very feeling makes you fight both tooth and nail to the bitter very end; with honor!

We give them hell before we die, but we do so with honor need I say so again! So bail if someone has gotten the best of you and don't crash well that is. . . . if your a true sim Player. I do and I am the one who mostly flies the FW 190 D-9 in this game.

The individuals who are the embodiment of the simulation game type are . . . . First of all my dearest friend -->Themeistore<--, Olife- Aka mylife lol, Jrhoody1<-- my arch nemesis lol jk JR, vdomini <--My Italian cannoli, and the P-51 club. These people are the embodiment of what I fight for!

WHAT IS YOURS?
