I'm getting screwed sound in SP too

Yeah, i had the sound issue carry over to single player once after leaving a multiplayer game where i encountered is. Very strange.

Double-check that you have both CoD directories excluded from Antivirus real-time monitoring shields (in internet and file monitoring settings). There are 2 exclusion lists one for manual/scheduled scanning and 2nd one for real-time monitoring/scanning. Make sure you exclude CoD from the real-time one.

The 2 CoD folders to be excluded are located in 1) Steam folder, 2) My documents folder.

Another solution reported at sukhoi.ru: install a clean Win7-64 to be used only with CoD. Do not install anything on it except for joystick and headtrack utilities, even antivirus. Just do not visit webpages or download anything from this OS, use the old OS for this instead.

Please share your results. We can help the devs to locate the problem more precisely.
