P.S. My understanding was that CloD doesn't use EAX. Oleg was very keen on ambisonic through headphones, I think.
Yes, I get no problems online AND offline. And no problems in surround or ambisonic mode.
As I stated, there is no stutter or other PROBLEM. If there is something like surround sound including EAX is another question.

I know this has been posted many times by others but

PLEASE fix the disappearing sound problem! For me and the guys I fly with its the biggest issue as we have to keep re-starting the game.

The various get-arounds suggested by others haven't fixed the problem.

I've got the latest Nvidia drivers.

Seconded!

I've also removed exclusive rights for my primary sound device and even reset the complete 1C Softclub folder thinking that it may be an old config file issue or some such. All to no avail BUT I have noticed that the issue only happens (speaking for myself here) when I join servers that have 30-35+ ppl or more flying on it. This is usually the case when flying on the Syndicate server and I get regular sound cut-outs after approx. 10 minutes airtime.

On servers with less people (and therefore presumeably) less strain, the cut-out issue doesn't ensue.

It's also not exclusivly a Realtek problem as some may have suggested. At least 2 of my squadies fly with dedicated creative boards and I myself am using a USB Headphone with builtin DSP as my primary sound device.

The bug wasn't there post 14550.

On the bright side of things, framerates online are now as high as they were in 14413 during single player. Stutters online have been practically alleviated. The visual experience is very enjoyable.

Cheers

14588 should be shown if you have the hotfix for 14550 installed.

Cheers

While you at fixing the sound problem, why not give the sound the proper fix. give us ture to life noise.

I saw a blue square in the middle of the cross country map yesterday, just once though. No graphic issues or sound issues, but if I use the joystick to pan around it will randomly move back to center or just below center. Sometimes it will do it, sometimes not.

Also can't move to the gunner positions no matter what button I tag it to.

I have had the blue square west of the 'cross country' take off point since day one, still got it, but it's right on the edge of the map so it hasn't really bothered me.

Apart from that everything's been ok graphics wise, until this latest patch/hotfix.
I never used the betas. Now I have the corrupted sea graphics others have reported, same texture as sandy coastline, extending either as a big rectangle or thin lines. But then sometimes it's fine... !

Also have the prop behind the clouds bug.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for but I think it might have something to do with post 16 in this thread:

http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthr...t=23020&page=2

My "fixing the sound problem" would be leaning way to far out of the window. I'm just relaying my experience so far. As mentioned previously, even the "fix" above doesn't work for me completely when I join servers that are heavily flown because, I still get the occasional sound cut-out.

Cheers
