Yeah, I can confirm that this new patch runs wonders. I also love the new prop!!! I barely remember the old one LOL.

Luthier, please don't forget about the Force Feedback issue. It works fine, but it needs some high G movements before it's activated when a mission is loaded (only aileron and elevator effects, machine gun effects always work). Also, during the flight sometimes those aileron and elevator effects are disabled until some high G movements are done again.

Thanks for the continued support,

Just ran the game with the latest hotfix, and did a test above London (all maxed out, SSAO on, 1920x1200). There is something strange, the memory usage goes up indefinitely, I've stopped the flight at 2835 MB of load. Matter for Luthier . Here is the Afterburner screenshot:

I don't see what's strange, seems to be working great. You have a 3gb card according to your specs, so the game is using the VRAM available to the best of it's ability. Why have 3gb of VRAM and not use it? On my 1.2gb card the game consistently uses 1-1.1gb of VRAM.

Thank you for the explanation Urufu! I remember users with 2GB VRAM reporting a max load of 1.5 MB, I believed that this was the game ceiling.

Cheers,

Some of you need to move to the new world called the USof A and download the patches.
This patch has made my CLoD run better then ever. Lets move on and get more planes and mission and things like that .

Good night.
To fix this issue a quick search of Steam would have given you this answer;

Installing from Disc instead of Steam
Question

I try to install my retail game from the included disc(s), but the game begins downloading through Steam instead. What can be done?
Answer

Using Steam launch options to install retail games from disc

1. Log in to Steam and click on Library.
2. Right-click on the game, select Delete local content, and confirm.
3. Insert the first disc into your computer.
4. Close Steam (Steam > Exit).
5. Press Windows Key + R to open Run
6. In the Run window type:

"C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -install E:

Replace E: with the CD/DVD drive you are installing from if is not correct.
Replace C:\Program Files\Steam if your Steam installation is not in the default location.
7. Press OK. Steam will launch and ask you to sign in if you do not have your password saved. Your installation should continue from the disc.

Its a common enough issue with Steam games.
