yeah alright, i'm getting carried away, what i mean is ive not had an enviromental based game with a more full set of shaders used absolutely everywhere. real generous poly structures. its Lush man ! and so vivid.

I noticed a few things on the screenshot on the previous page: What is it with the striped horizon? It's not the first time I see something like this.
A settings issue perhaps? Like the purple coloured parts I've seen already in various YouTube clips?

And what about this kind of uprising piece of countryside. Will cause some unpleasant surprises when going out in your car for a Sunday afternoon picknick.

First two are old (small and large), other two large images are new.

No, first 2 are old and last 2 are new. According the text above his screenies.

But, ain't that ironic?
You are so mesmerized by the fantastic new lighting effects that it made you start this topic...but you can't see the difference yourself.

It's probably why Luthier didn't post before/after screenshots other than a one line in the change log as it was rather minor.

To be fair though, the first two pictures demonstrate the lighting better because of the way they are set up. It's not really a fair comparison to compare all 4 pictures, because they are all from different angles and, additionally, the ones taken on the new patch look as though they are from a different time of day altogether.

A quick attempt to get a similar shot, the sun is a bit higher in the after shot which makes it look a bit lighter but you can clearly see a lot more blue and thus pink in it.
