it soft crashed the first time, i was able to ctrl+Alt+Del rescue, the last two times i got about 5 mins of play time, and the third time straight away crash, i was getting brrrrrrr cos the sound fucked as well, you know the dreaded crash that results in the power switch.
Screw this bloody game, if i dont step away it's gonna either frustrate me to anger or break my pc. Tested for the last hour on other games runs fine. PC is clean inside too. Last edited by BigPickle; 05-19-2011 at 12:25 PM. |

512 mb vram is not enough for CloD. Land and forest textures are improved in this patch. Probably they just do not fit into your vram. I run it fine on similar ancient card but with 2gb vram. Try reducing texture quality.
And your processor is too slow. Overclock it to 3.5ghz as I did. Try the optimization guide in my sig (#5). ps. The patch gave a lot of improvement for me. Game runs much smoother online now and with better visual quality. Last edited by Ataros; 05-19-2011 at 12:37 PM. |

512 is plenty vram for this game lol, my system runs arma2 near full wack and my settings on COD are no different than previous, and i didnt have this problem before.
My processor is also fine and I'm not gonna go overclocking it just because this game wont work AFTER a patch as i have no idea how to overclock and would probably screw it up. Thanks for the help though. |
