(just joking)

I was about to make a joke about that too, but really, I've spent months in the air but I am yet to see a dark blue river The rivers/streams in CoD are actually one of my few complaints as I'm rather content otherwise. Especially at distance Kent can look like the Amazon delta... Fat rivers all over, and the dark blue color makes them even more pronounced. I am pretty sure this was not their intent but a side effect of not having finished the transparent water we have heard is in the pipeline!

The biggest mistake in coloring we can all agree on is that the River Thames is NOT in any way a shade of blue, but more of a chocolate milk or pooh brown .

I spent 4 months working in London from Oct to end of Feb, apart from loving every second of that city, it was somewhat cool to fly the rout I walked to work in the sim. Would have been cooler if my frame rates were a little better, but that's on me and my machine.

When I lived in London in the early 90's I was walking along the Thames on the side opposite the parliment and I saw a photographer. Infront of his camera lens he had a glass plate painted blue on the bottom half!

It all makes sense now!

Cheers!

so here is my question. Why do a crap ton of sims make it look anything BUT something similar to what the OP posted? I mean WoP has some green monstor tint, CoD is liek Im flying around on acid, and 1946 well they jsut didnt have the power back then. but even FSX and CFS make it look so cartoony. Im no programmer but wouldnt it take just some guy slooking at a picture or movie and then model it after that?

Again Im no programmer maybe someone can shed some light on the subject. (no pun intended)

They were just having a joke, I was about to ask which model Spit you were in when you took the fiirst pick owing to the obviously bugged cockpit, but I won't bother asking it now
