Sorry to be blunt- You are talking about working arround the clock but you have to do it to make up for the state of the released game and to account for customer service.
If you don't get your act togerhear soon, CoD will be forgotten.
Talking about future addons for CoD in its state is bad joke.
Planely, the game needs fixing almost in every aspect:
-Performans
-Sound
-FM's
-MP
-Campains
-Effects
-Consistant FFB
-AI....

Still it is fantastic day to remember the victory over the Nazis

Default As long as we are all requesting what 1c should really be focusing on

Bob's strategic campaign layer changed the way I think about flight sims. I'm a lot more immersed in the fight if I was the one that ordered the attack.

Please consider making a strategic overlay on Il2-COD that allows us to control either the RAF or Luftwaffe, plan attacks, manufacturing resourcing and jump into fight when we'd like to.

Indeed, BoB2 is not just strategic. One can easily join a squadron, and participate in just that squadron's exploits. The campaign will follow historical events, but it's dynamic, so hugely reliant on the battle going on around. I personally have never had a better sim experience, and last summer, a few of us on simHQ did a day-by-day historical recreation of the BoB by posting daily AR's. It was interesting to compare eachother's, and they're well worth a read over there, as there are some awesome story lines which went on or (in my case) fizzled out...

Sounds good. I really hope to see a decent dynamic campaign for CoD. Luthier mentioned he had produced a design document for it and was disappointed at it not being implemented as yet. I don't think that there is any other way to really integrate the immersive 'being there' experience into a game like this. Without it we are just playing single, disconnected missions with no real feeling of tension or period involvement.

Regarding the Eastern Front, i'm quite happy to see it redone with next-gen cockpits, etc. Personally I'd prefer it to the Med, though I have to say the Med would be a comparatively easy add-on for the dev team. Anyway, good to see that plans for the future are in hand.

You really shouldn't talk to 1C like that. They tried.

I was going to write see above , but that might be misunderstood as well.

He probably means the general public who have no inkling how such projects are managed.

Not 1C.
A language barrier perhaps?

Lack of sense of humour perhaps?

What about other planes for bob, and warships?
'See above'?
Don't think so.

IMHO chosing eastern front is a sign of things going worse than expected.

Instead of going for a theatre that would sell the expansion worldwide, instead of adding american planes, they go back to ussr vs germs, which can sell good in these two countries, but not so good anywhere else.

I don't want to be right, but I'm afraid this russian expantion may be the last.
Like grab some money from where you easily can and gtfo?
