Got a 5 - 10 fps average increase from this patch which is nice
even though frame rate seems good, there was increased stuttering over land. problem was eliminated if forests were lowered/ turned off (forest even on medium cause a 15fps hit). I got crash after i hit escape and goto menu, then escape again to go back into the game. i did notice something when i was hitting escape, was when the screen flashed from the game to the menu or vise versa, i would quickly see a flash of the last graphic frame of my last mission (eg, if the last thing that u saw was ur guy bailing then u exited the game, in the next mission u play you would see a quick flash of ur guy bailing fromt he last mission). Could the launcher be thinking the last mission is still running, therfore memory overflow to cause this crash? Last edited by Helrza; 05-06-2011 at 06:52 AM. |

Well folks, after hours of testing, crashing, stuttering, fps tops and drops, I decided to go the "way" of some other people in the CoD forum: I put the game aside and will eventually check back later, when all these game killing issues are fixed.
Spent a lot of (not so much) sparetime in CoD over the last weeks. Time for a break! @luthier & team: Hope you get it up and running in near future! |

Actually, no. If its supposed to be working 100% they would say "Added Full Xfire Support"
They do not have any Xfire systems as far as I remember.. this is a work in progress.. Its important for you to give them feedback on the details..not "its not working.." Some people say it is using both cards for them, but the performance is actually less that a single card at the moment..

For one,I have'nt been swapping the video paremeters about ie checking grass on,checkking grass off, enabling buildings, disabling buildings etc.I've constantly had the same settings on more or less from the beginning,so I can monitor the performance clearer. And only one is working,I'm just waiting to see what happens to the performance that we will end up with before I go and spend some more cash on a flashy card.I gotta say at the moment,ATi is probably favouring least in my choices of card. It is quite apparent that ATi cards are being left out in the cold here on COD,shoot me down in flames if you disagree here, but I believe this to be the case.I'm not complaining, this is just an observation.

Well as far as a crossfire of 5770 it seems to be working so far, it would be nice to have as many input as possible from other xfire users to see if its the beta support that is actually card "selective" pretty much like some have experienced gpu clocks not going in full 3d mode on some cards and others ATI users haven't, and the blue stripes stuff on the horizon on certain 6xxx that doesn't appear to affect older cards.
EDIT: working as in both cards sharing the load and apparent performance gain. Last edited by Crimson Hog; 05-06-2011 at 08:46 AM. |

I`ve got a 4870x2, offline I can enable fullscreen mode and increase the graphics setting, incl grass roads and shadows, the Crossfire icon displays top right and both gpus are running at full speed, framerate is very very good. Online I get constant fps flutters at best I lose 50% of the offline fps and it swings from 5 to 30fps almost constantly, when I turn fullscreen to pseudo my Crossfire icon disappears, one gpu doesn`t clock itself up but my framerate goes back to a stable and acceptable level, not as good as the offline framerate but definately no stuttering etc, fps is around the 40 to 80 mark.
Last night whilst online in pseudo mode I lost my sound about 10 mins into a flight, didn`t return till I restarted the program. I also cannot exit online maps without ctrl alt deleting to stop the game. PhenomII x4 955BE at 3.6ghz 4870x2 11.3 drivers Win7 64bit 4gb of Corsair 1333 ddr3 |

When flying a MP, the ESC key doesn't stop the game, the plane still flies unattended while you are in the briefing/map screen. Is it intentional, or a bug?
