i hardly notice any difference in performance ...over city still big fluctuations in frame rate over see its ok .

Have u tried to turn Hyper-Threading off from bios? It does not help in this or any game...

Dont know why it works for me and with my specs.
Here are complete specs.

Packard Bell Viseo 240DX
P7P55D PRO
Intel Core i5 750 @ 2.67GHz OC to 3 Ghz (automatic overclock)
12 GB DDR3 (1600mhz but oc dropped it to 1400mhz)
GigaByte NVidia GeForce 560 ti OC 1GB
Samsung 1TB SpinPoint F3 3.5", SATAII, 32MB, 7200RPM
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
