Those recorded sounds aren't perfect, they lack dynamics sounds from behind/front/blade edge the same.
Instead of asking for the "perfect" (since decades the ms flight simulator way of doing it) i would ask for more procedural sound development. But in first place, i think that people talking about shame/lame/crappy, have shame/lame/crappy education.
