Your system should be able to run Il-2 COD just fine. Not with the highest of settings, but no-one can! Do you have updated drivers for your HD5870? Do you have a seperate sound-card?

Drivers are up to date and I have a XFI Titanium as an additional sound card.
The game was working fine (meaning the stutter, texture bug, etc...  ) but since it crashed the GUI is totally no more refresingI guess that I have profile files that must be corrupted somewhere as a full steam and game cleanup and reinstall does not change anything. Any idea where CoD is storing the file on the PC ? I deactivated from scratch the steam cloud so I guess that somewhere on my PC is something wrong... thanks for your help
