So how do you define performance? Do we judge it by FPS or stutters or just how the game feels overall? I had FPS drop, stutters are still there buildings still look like 2D roofs painted on ground but addition of FFB made the game much more enjoyable for me.btw I still can't get custom ammo loadouts to work in QMB

The game still does not clock up certain ATI cards to full 3D clock speeds. Full-screen mode has changed nothing.

Exceptional patch for me - 8x AA, settings high, grass roads trees on, very smooth.
1920x1080, london and black death look great. i5 2500k : 4ghz. 2x gtx 460. 4gb 1600 ram, win7/64. |

EDIT: In general it seems like it's my processor that's definitely the bottleneck, changing the settings from low to high doesnt really affect the fps that much. i7 920 @ 4 GHz 6Gb 1600MHz DDR 3 Geforce GTX 580 Windows 7 64 bit Last edited by Tymi; 04-23-2011 at 08:21 AM. Reason: additions |

How about starting with:
If your going to upload a beta patch for others to test then don’t use some useless tin pot heap of crap like megaupload to host the file instead use e.g. rapidshare which at least provides a button for you to download from as a “free” user after the countdown time, plus e.g. the rapidshare site is seldom down and they don’t tend to screw there page html up.

what I do have a problem with regarding Megaupload is if there page isn’t serving up corrupt html so is not working then it serves up a working page with a countdown but NO download ever starts and there is NO button/link to press to start the download if it fails to start automatically after the countdown LIKE ALMOST ALL OTHER SITES DO!.I don’t see why I should change from IE that works on 99.9% of websites to some other browser which inevitably will require you to still have IE for the much bigger quantity of sites they wont work on properly. |

In the case of this patch on my machine, for example - my fps was down in some runs by a few frames - BUT my pausing and stuttering were almost non-existent. So in my case - I reported improved performance. It does you no good to have 100 fps for 20 frames and 1 fps for 10. S! Gunny
