S!

Now that came out of nowhere Was tinkering with IL-2 to see if any setting would cause FPS boost or degradation. So far none except one, HDR. Set that to 0 and Launcher.exe crashes. Possible to have HDR thing as option? It eats FPS as well.

Luthier, do these error messages tell you anything if posted? Got a few of them from the logs...

Thanks for keeping us updated. JMHO, but I would like to see more optimization of the graphics over land, and in particular, the buildings.
I did some benchmark tests and whenever it refocuses on buildings, the fps drops in the toilet.
Also, even when my fps is high (e.g. much >30) I still see stutters and pauses.
I was using the tiger moth land flight track that came with last patch.
Anyway, something else is going on.
It's not ram either because I did these tests with everything as low as possible and monitored my ram use.
Maybe the sound files or something.
But, I was running sound as low as possible.
It was weird because my fps was actually higher with minimal sound turned on( sounduse=1) verses sound off (sounduse=0), which doesn't make any sense to me.
You would think with sound off avg fps would be higher, but it was lower by noticeable difference.
I should mention, I don't have sound card so everything off cpu/gpu in my test. I would really look at the sound in general though.
It drops out a lot in some of the bench tracks. Also, the radio chatter and that red text, just cut that out of the game. No one cares about it and all it does is lower performance and is annoying.
Also, take a week off for Easter.
Don't burn yourselves out.
We need you to live long time.
