downloaded patch - applied it as with all previous patches (which I had no problems with) - when I launch I get crosshairs, then nothing - Launcher process starts in task manager then stops. Thankfully with steam you just verify game files and it puts back the original ones, but would like to get the patch working if possible - any ideas? ( I already tried re downloading , un zipping and re-applying - no good) - looks like I may have to go to the pub early tonight after all... oh the inhumanity of it all

Likewise. Here is the message from the Log.txt file

Well since this is working for some people and not the others, perhaps the problem is the OS?

We might have done something wrong using a .zip archive this time, when we used .rar before. Some people were having trouble opening .rar, perhaps the same is going on when unzipping out of a zip? Are you guys just using Windows Explorer? Select the two folders inside the zip and copy-paste? Make sure to replace all files?

Sorry about the troubles.

Stuff in this patch:

3. Force feedback.

Hello luthier,

the implemented force feedback files (... ... \Steam\SteamApps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\parts\core\FF\*.FFE) are already known since DirectX 9.0 SDK (December 2004). See also

The files have been tested extensively since 2004 and by the way, the yare not almost state of the art 2011. Please where is the development?

Kind regards

Varrattu

Hmm, not sure what to think of this patch. ;-(

I've seen Br20's without any wings continue to fly as if nothing had happened, Spits and Hurricanes same thing. Hurri's that attack slow bombers at 6 o' clock fly straight in to their target and eventually spriral down (too long) and crash. Besides, it looks like there are more hiccups/slowdowns/stutters than before. Look likes something got broke with this patch.

Rgs,
FP
