Hello Biltongbru!

Congratulations for your videos as you really show the true potential of the game, even if most of us configurations cannot achieve this quality yet entirely...

I would like to know at which airfield did you place the ground views (starting up)?

Thanks!

JV

It runs ok but whenever there are explosions and lots of planes/effects then it stutters a bit with fraps also active.

Movie is made by recording at 1/4 speed and corrected with movie editor

I also vote for a Biltong sticky, great stuff! I really enjoyed "I flew for the fuhrer" Biltong, amazing production value considering it's a fan made IL-2 movie.

Another outstanding clip Tinus! Keep them coming!!

In Oleg's thread (for this clip), he mentions that the clip has original in-game colours.

I must say that the colouring in all of your 3 clips, the Wellington bomber, the tanks and now the Dornier 17, looks 100% to me. Oleg says that the reason for the difference in colours/saturation in your clip compared with what we are used to seeing, is the time of the day.

I must say, I still feel that the English countryside greens (in the bright midday sun) still look too vivid/garish to me - what do you think?

This sim is truly amazing - the "bug" has bitten me again after the stuttering virtually disappeared with the first patch.

Regards

Thanks Mungee!

The FMB setting for the Do-17 movie was 5:30 am and the colours are more true (my opinion) and used only about 25% desaturation.

The Wellington movie was done at midday and used about 40-50% desaturation.

Oleg did mention some of this in his thread of this movie on this forum.

There are many hidden gems of this sim yet to be discovered!

Regards
Tinus (Cape Town)
