I get around 70-90 fps over open water.

I'm getting mid 20s to mid 30s flying low-level over London and then dropping suddenly down as low as 3 fps hence the stuttering.

Okay, so its low fps stuttering not 20-30fps stuttering, I would say that its just low fps not a stutter problem like we had before.

I reckon if you over-clocked your cpu to 3.5-4GHz you would see a drastic improvement.

Default Great Patch - 1 problem grass is missing

A big thank you goes to the IL2 team

The patch is fantastic, the sim is running smoothly on my PC now at medium settings. I get 30 FPS over land and over the sea I get 60FPS

The only problems I have noticed is that grass does not appear when I select it in the options, and the building textures appear to take a long time to load in, so buildings are left untextured for a while after coming into view.

My GPU memory and GPU processor are both maxed out at 100%, and all 4 CPU cores were running at about 25%. I run the game at 1280 x 720 resolution, since my 1GB GT240 GPU is just not up to running it at full resolution.

I find that reducing texture to 'High' helps me to get better frame rates.

I've gotten a huge boost in performance. Was running everything on the lowest settings before just for it to be playable. I'm now running everything on medium and have AA set to 8x and it's running better than before. Great job guys this Sim is looking awesome!
