Stutters are completely gone, so we're getting there.

Unfortunately though, input lag is still pretty noticeable (even at 40+ fps) and my GPU still runs at idle clocks unless forced into an overclock via CCC.

Radeon 6950 2GB (x2), Cat 11.3

Nice 21 fps increase in average on my bench track - very good (can't directly compare it to previous graphs as I'm fiddling around with the cpu OC right now and only running at 4ghz to see how low I can get the volts for a stable 4Ghz OC - will switch back to 4.7 later and try again . Not had time to check anything else yet but looking good

Downloading, installed, and quick tested.
Much, much better. Nice job.
Game runs smoothly at medium settings (no stuttering at all) and almost smoothly at high settings (some stuttering over land).
I havent tested flying down low over a town yet, but from what I've seen so far it looks like it's getting better.
A gaming buddy on medium end machine reports no big changes for him, but we had been warned that this patch was mostly for high end boxes... It surely did a lot of good for me!

Screenshots (including a screenie of the settings used for each series of shots) are available Here <=latest screenies marked 'Apr.14 Patch installed' have FPS reported by Fraps in the bottom-right corner. (NOTE: 25-30 FPS is good enough as long as it doesnt stutter...)

Also getting wierd textures I didnt have before in LW campaign first mission (using original textures)

Edit - rebooted - still did the same - noticed gfx card fan was on high (mine usually stays quiet as I have 3 200mm fans & 1 120 in HAF X case) - switched Asus smart doctor smart temp off and back to auto fan setting - bobs your uncle, one reboot later no odd textures - so may just have been artifacts due to GPU running too hot - will repost if I get them again - but looked unlike artifacts I've ever seen before from temp....

CODSettings.jpg

Just loaded the patch, it gave me the option to lower textures and I think this made a massive difference. TBH the land detail still looked ace even on these low settings. My experience was a high FPS (45+ I reckon) even low over Dover

HD4890 oc, Core2 duo E8400, 4gb ram
Not a new machine but decent and nearing upgrade
