As far as I am aware AA is supported in the DX10 settings, and XP supports DX9 only

Is not, look around a bit in this forum and you find more then enough info about non-working AA. This is one of them
@ Oldschool: You don't always loose 30%-40% when using AA, it depends on your hardware and on the program (take FSX as an example). Since AA isn't working, how would you know what to loose on performance? Last edited by 666th_Lange; 04-12-2011 at 02:48 PM. |

most are seeing a AA performance hit at about 10 -15 frames (quoted %) even with highend hardware

Yep, but without visual diference.AA is not working and is really like a time travel to the wolfestein 1 era.

Wrong, I do see the difference between no AA and 2x AA (no difference above though).
