Awesome mod - performance has doubled for me.

Now i'm getting 50 fps flying low over London in full screen mode.
Some stutter as things load up (textures im guessing) but then its all smooth.

From my testing SHADOWS should be turned to OFF, the performance hit is just not worth it. 100fps turned to 70fps with the only difference being the shadow setting. AA doesn't seem to provide much for the performance hit either. Some of the other settings you might as well go HIGH because the performance difference between low and high is very small while the look difference is very big. Using the same Quick mission over and over while changing 1 thing at a time let's you see the difference

Yeah, I found the same thing with the shadows which is a shame because they help with situational awareness a lot. I posted this analysis of a track in the patch feedback thread but probably relevant here too, just need to repeat with this mod in place:

I just played around a bit with the nossao, lowtex and nomipmaps options and noticed I get the highest fps with only -mod=nossao enabled and the other 2 not running.

Anyone else tried this and find the same thing happening?

Yes, same for me. I found that i would have even lower fps with the kegetys.dll enabled than without. I now have only -mod=nossao enabled.
