Do you remember what have you changed in game settings (may be the cause of these freezes)?

Right-click on the Options.exe in the game folder and choose 'Run as Administrator' to make sure it will save the settings. Choose whatever settings you want there (better uncheck EAX since you have built-in sound chip), make sure you choose the right screen resolution. Uncheck high sky detail. After that save the changes.

Another thought - go to the nVidia control panel and force V-Sync for Korea.exe.
Thank you for the reply. The game has frozen up at the main menu twice. However it mainly freezes at the start of the battle. Whether it's the campaign or regular mission, before I even hit the "Continue" button to start the battle. Literaly everytime I fire up this game, since I bought this new computer last week.

I did try to run "Steam" in admin mode, and also run the game as admin.
The resolution settings are correct.

There was one time I was able to play a battle for about 20 seconds before it froze up. All settings were maxed out, and it was silky smooth. Since that time I did not make any other adustments.

I'll try to disable "EAX" and lower the "sky detail" and force "Vsync" when I get home from work, and post back.

Thank you sir.
