i-7 970, 2xGTX560 270.51, 12gb cheap ram, W7/64U 1680x1050 all settings high except grass=off, building amount=small and forest=low.
PROS: Noticeable improvement in the cockpit when looking down at gauges (about 20%). FMB now shows labels. Not quite so choppy when flying over land at 2000m or higher. CONS: Had to go back to FMB to tick player box for my plane in a mission I created. Pausing the game can cause loss of sound upon unpause. Getting black screen on startup every time, must CNTL-ALT-DEL to taskmanager then all is ok again. STILL THE SAME: Serious stutters (almost unplayable) when flying low over land. Control lag and stutters when dogfighting one Hurri VS. one Condor. Last edited by bigchump; 04-08-2011 at 03:33 PM. Reason: Black screen on startup occasionally |

I get a crash to desktop when trying to play any mission. In game menu let me chose any graphic configuration but just when I am going to play there is CTD.

Overall I get better framerate now I can play over the channel with same settings and 1920x1080 with better performance. I can't fly over land at least over the British map because stuttering kills framerate. Bombers and fighters still give stuttering and in some moments when I switch external view to look around I get stuttering too for a few seconds. I tried a fight on the Isles doom(I don`t remember the name) and I got playable framerate. Stuttering was the only problem on bombers and buildings. It's a step forward but there is still work to do. I am positive this sim will be playable very soon. |

I just installed the patch and notice a BIG improvement in playability. I have everyting set to medium and modeldetail and effects even on high 1920x1200 resolution AA off. Grass, shadows and streets activated. My framerate improved for around 10 frames under every condition. All the stutters are gone. Still the FPS over land and especially dense with houses filled areas is very low but over all this patch was a reall big improvement and it makes me confident that with better multi core support and working SLI this game will become an absiolute charm to play.
My System: Core i7 930 @4 GHz RAM: 6GB Gskill GFX: GTX 480 SLI (currently only one running COD) OS: WIN 7 64 bit Winger |

Installed The Patch no difference noticed in FPS however i know press F3 get a fly by and when i press F1 to get back to cockpit it remains in fly by mode. Black screen on start up and have to start task manager to get the game to show...
Hopefully the patches released in the coming weeks will settle things down Core 2 Quad Q6600 4gb Ram Windows 7 Ultimate 8800gtx |

The game will only display non wide-screen video settings if I uncheck full-screen. If full screen is checked then it displays ALL video modes including some weird 30Hz and 29Hz ones.
I set my desktop and the game resolution both to 1270 x 720 which gives good Performance on my PC. I needed to do this for the game screen to occupy all of my monitor. Once set-up and in the game performance was much improved with tree's looking very nice, but with flickering shadows. Flying over London I was getting decent framerates ( 25 fps) Its definitely much improved, and I have not suffered any crashes once in game. Keep up the good work

Since this is running in a windowed mode (which usually slows things down, cause it must keep the desktop in memory too, right?), I wonder if those of you who report speed ups have Windows Aero turned off?
