That's good news. If we can run COD right now with that CPU in a year we all be able to max it out.

I hope the improve performance that right now it seems the top priority.

Maybe sooner. This thread indicates that serious performance gains may be possible sooner:

"7. Overall graphics optimization - selection of rendering into a single thread - a dramatic increase of FPS (roughly doubled). This work will take at least a month."

yes i have the new i7 core i guess it is 2600k not 2500k lol

I should add that the cpu usage on the i7 2600K is about 50% of one thread (1/2 a core) and the rest is about 2-5% spread across the other cores and threads.

Remember this is with buildings down low and land. So cpu usage will go up. But the i7 2600k has massive room to take on more loading.
