I am with you I think the sideways head motion is way to strong.

Same here.
The head moves so strong that you knock to the canopy in almost every turn. That's much worse for your nausea than flickering propellers. |

I completely disagree..
WW2OL has this as well, and it gives a 100x better immersion of flight. |

"The head moves so strong that you knock to the canopy in almost every turn"
Well actually it's pretty intense in a real aircraft of that caliber, the pilot has to be really high to feel comfortable and a better sight and he will definitely bang his head on the canopy a lot this is why the helmet is for canopy/cockpit bumps and not for crashes Last edited by GOZR; 04-01-2011 at 11:12 PM. |

Track IR have almost the same problem than RoF seating on behind the seat on wide but in much better, the views are too far back.. TRACK IR need to be reconfigured in our own naturalpoint software since it is not as good/axis smooth as 1946 modded but similar to BOB II.
![]() I also find the head bob to be a bit too much... ! to wide movements.. it make you think that your head is "gigantic" .. Having a head designed with correct dimensions will give you a better sensation that can move vibrate etc.. but not as wide mostly while having a thick suit and safety belt on Last edited by GOZR; 04-01-2011 at 11:09 PM. |

There's a lot of shaking going on normally with aircraft, especially the smaller types such as in game. It comes and goes most days depending on local conditions...check out this ride

I've had to turn it off, even though head shake is a natural part of flying, it was inducing motion sickness. (Something I've never had when flying in a real life light aircraft.)
I also get the effect when playing FPS's and watching films like 'Blaire Witch' I think it's about the brain trying to sort out contradictory input from the eyes and your other senses. With head shake turned off no problems at all. If head shake is enforced I'ld find another server. Cheers! Last edited by Skoshi Tiger; 04-02-2011 at 01:16 AM. |
