I do not know if this helps but despite dedicating 2-3 CPU cores for the game, at the moment in question it is only one CPU that is working at 100% percent, the other CPUs reaining idle. o, at the crucial moment, the overall CPU load is 14% percent (of eight cores - 4 cores + 4 hyperthreading) with the first allocated to IL2 core working at 100% percent @28_Condor: Thank you for this information about RAM, I check the RAM consumption and whether this is the problem. Despite your negative comment on WinXP, I think I have the least problems with the game using WinXP than other people I know using Win7 Last edited by 335th_GRAthos; 03-30-2011 at 05:31 AM. |

Luthier, your statement about the epilepsey filter disabling SLI seems to be incorrect, those with dual card setups that have disabled the filter still have no SLI support. Please advise what to do from here.

I would like to give my 2 cents about a specific sound thing: the structural creak that you hear almost every time is a bit overdone. What you guys don't seem to get is that the noise of the engine in front of you is the most potent, deafening thing that you have in the cockpit, you would probably be able to hear the thud thud thud of the guns, but the engine is SO loud you guys have no idea. To hear the structural creak like that you need:
1) to be pulling crazy Gs, almost close to the breaking point (the max G I pulled in a real P-51 mustang was 6.2 and never heard a thing). The sound u use sounds more like a submarine structural sound, if anything it should be a shorter creak sound. 2) probably to be with the engine on idle! Again, the sound of the engine is deafening, it covers everything else. |

Mission 4 in the British campaign crashes on start. English version.
Update: Never mind. It was a windows problem. Sorry.

When loading Cliffs of Dover the game for some reason acts like a 2D application and both of my cores stay at 2D clock speeds ( 507MHz and 500MHz). If clock speed is forced than one core will reach proper clocks ( 750MHz and 900MHz). The second core stays at 2D speed.
I tested many games and Cliffs of Dover is the only one with this issue. Win7 64 bit sp1 E8400 wolfdale cpu a 3 GHz 8 gigs of Ram 4870X2 (duel core single card) GPU Games tested Doom 3 Civ 4 GTR2 Dragon Age IL2 1946 Rfactor 2 Fallout 3 Silent Hunter 3, 4 and 5 Bioshock Oblivion |

I use WinXP but I will upgrade to win7 precisely because XP have a limit of 3,5 RAM, above this the sistem dont recognize more memory... With CoD I want at least 6 giga of RAM to run the game (not yet available for Latin America) |
