Engine sound is good but very slow, sounds like it is idle. True to life?

14 minute vid with Ilya commentary at M4T, some interesting concerning MP and that odd looking map. (sorry if its linked elsewhere on the forum.)

What happened to beautiful beaches? Ugh.

Also kill streaks good idea, more scoring detail and awards gives progress and encouragement.

I saw a screen shot of that terrain last week and was puzzled by it but Ilya makes the point that CoD will also appeal to entry level Sim players (and that vid is very much entry level MP) using easily recognisable terrain in the form of 'roundels' and 'crosses'. Not for me but making the game 'accessible to all' has always been part of Olegs design philosophy which is reasonable (and profitable of course).

Do you also spot the glowing hits on the He-111? Is that from incendiary rounds or tracers which are struck? In any way, it looks really cool.
Plus bullet hits sound very real to me. He also seems to run it quite high FPS in comparison with what I've seen so far, I'll try to dig up his specs.
