I dont see how bullet holes at the exact same spot are so important to you, IL2's damage model is good for me, it indicates where you were hit, just not that tiny .303 round that struck on your wing, and you might not even have noticed in real life, from what I've seen the damage in the latest videos, looks really good, a lot more detailed than IL2 so that's a big plus.

But that's not the main thing about the new damage model, it's the inside, the many separate components that can be destroyed there, that's the real thing. And I'm much looking forward to that. There's where the simming starts for me.
